It's Been A While...

Much has happened in our lives in just 2 short (or long...depending upon how you look at it) months. Brian has lost both of his grandmothers...2 wonderful ladies who will be missed dearly, Halloween, a wedding shower for my sister Brianne, visiting with family, Thanksgiving, a bachelorette party, a wedding rehearsel dinner, one heck of a wedding bash, and mama (yes, that would be me) has gone back to work my friends. I got a job in the school where I used to teach (even in the very same room) pre-Bryce teaching 4th grade. So folks, there has been some enormous adjustments in the Turner Household. Working moms, I have no idea how you do it! There have been times (in only 2 months) where I truly question my womanhood, motherhood, and strength. However, life must roll and so must I.

Needless to say, I will try to update you with some recent pics and I promise from now on, I will stay current. Forgive me for having the pics out of order...seems about right, it's how everything else is in my life right now.

Why I love little girls...

A couple of weekends ago, Hailey's friend, Sydney, had a princess birthday party. The below pics include some of the reasons I'm so thankful God gave us a little girl. Happy Birthday Sydney!

I love you

Many of you who know Bryce also know that he is a little selfish with his declarations of love if you're not "his family". However, his teacher's birthday was last week and he wanted to make her a special card with stamps, stickers, fuzzies, etc... When I asked him what he wanted to write in the card, he answered "I love you...Love, Bryce". After I picked my heart up off of the floor, I showed him how to write his first love letter. Although, I'm thrilled that he loves his new teacher and had to sleep next to his creation, I was a little sad that it wasn't for me.

PS...every word you see here was written by Bryce himself. I think I love his teacher as much as he does.

Question #1: Why is it that these 2 unimportant tasks were on my list of "important things to do"?
Question #2: Why do I care so much?
Anyhow, I checked them off of above mentioned list. That afternoon was productive.

-Organize closet

How long...

will this last? I love the fact that Hailey follows me around with her "glups" to "help" me clean the house. Her favorite room in the house to clean is the bathroom. So...how long will this last? I hope her undying love for cleaning doesn't cease anytime soon. I need help around here for a long time.

Let me preface these next few pictures by saying that before two certain "celebrities" came to Melbourne, FL, I had no idea who they were; however, having said that, I was still completely starstruck in their presence.

To those of you that are much cooler than I and actually watch MTV, you might like this. Yes, Donnie Klang (from MTV's Making the Band) and platinum recording artist Cassie (sings Official Girl) came to our very own, SHEER BAR in Downtown Melbourne. Of course, since I know the owner of this fabulous place, I had VIP seats all night...and so did some of my best friends, Ang and Mom.

Good Stuff

On Labor Day, my Aunt and Uncle had a BBQ. It was nice to get all the 2nd cousins together...well the ones that live in Florida anyway.



It's so wierd that Bryce is the "oldest" of this bunch.

You wouldn't guess that he's the "oldest" by his actions, now would you?
