Summer

All these kids over to swim and only 1 poop floating in the pool. I'd say that was a success!

What will she do next?

Seriously. Let's discuss this. The girl paints her toes/ nails on a daily basis. I wish I were kidding and so do my countertops/ couches/ and tile shown above. So I asked her, "How many layers of nail polish can one 3 year old toe hold?" Her reply was simple, "When the nail-toe polish's all gone, Mommy."

Just fun...

We thought it would be a good idea to have a BBQ with just us. I've decided...it's certainly the way to go. Nice. Quick. Good.

Gotta love...

The BEACH! Some summer fun at the beach is always a hit.

I think this was the 3rd time Hailey had changed (yes, even at the beach) that day. High maintenance girl, to say the least.

One of the greatest things ...

about being a teacher is...the summertime! The kids I and seem to have picked up right where we left off before I went back to work. Dressing up like princesses and pirates and heading to Publix was always one of our favorites. I know one day I'm so going to miss this!

I suppose one of the best things about being 3 and 5 is that you truly don't care who's watching.

Weekend Getaway

Brian planned a nice weekend getaway for the two of us a over Memorial Day weekend. We had very nice dinners (that involved reservations that I didn't have to make...wow), basked in the sun, read books (at least I did), did some outlet shopping (for the kids of course) and of course Brian even managed to squeeze in a Magic Play-0ff Game. Everyone wins!

Some cuteness for you...

Cool Whip is the best...no matter what you do with it.

Hailey thinks this is her "tent."

Summer

One of my favorite parts about being home for the summer...mid day baths and little hineys! Seriously...I think I could take a bite!

Graduation already?

Have I mentioned how much this little guy melts my heart? He truly is one of the most kind-hearted, affectionate, smart and friendliest boys that I have ever met. I cannot believe he has graduated from VPK and will be heading to kindergarten at the "big school" in August.
Now excuse me while I pick my heart up off the floor.

Bryce's teacher, Mrs. D, giving him squeezes as he moves across his stage with his "diploma."

A special visit...

from our very own, Uncle Jeff! It is so nice to know that our children are so loved. I consider it a complete blessing that our kids have thier very own Uncle Jeff...seriously...everyone should have one of him. He not only loves them...he watches them all day while mom and dad are at work (thank you), wipes rear-ends, feeds them pizza, goes swimming, watches T-Ball games, discusses criteria for "hot chicks", and if you're very special...teaches you new words/ phrases that moms and dads especially love! Truly, our kids worship him and can't wait to see him in just a couple of weeks as we head out west...Kansas that is. Miss you Uncle Jeff!

Uncle Jeff and his little guy...

Here are some pictures of the game that Uncle Jeff came to watch...I'm not too sure if Bryce was really into the game...you decide...I'm convinced he was awaiting its completion so he could play some more with his best bud.

Pretty cute though, huh?
