Easter

We spent this Easter with lots and lots of family this year as we delighted in remembering all the wonderful times in my Grandmother's life. We miss you!

Disney '09

Besides the fact that we decided to brave Disney during Spring Break on the busiest day "that they've seen this year" and the fact that the high was 59 degrees and very windy, or the fact that we had to take a day off to visit Urgent Care for Bryce's wheezing, or the fact that I lost my expensive sunglasses that I've managed to keep for 2 whole years...we did manage to have an incredible time. "Disney Magic" must make everyone numb to the above mentioned "facts."
Since when does the castle change colors at night? Am I the only one who didn't know this detail? Pleasantly surprised.
The Fam in Downtown Disney at Lego World

Bryce as he watches his lego car get defeated for the 100th time in a row. I'm serious. The boy was trying everything to help his creation win.

This was taken shortly after we took both kids on Jaws. I do not reccomend doing this with little ones. Let's just say we departed that ride with 2 kids screaming and lots of nasty faces from the other adults wondering, "Why on Earth would they take 2 little ones to see Jaws?" Live and learn.

Universal Studios...Curious George Land...more our speed.

Bryce and Daddy on Buzz Lightyear...we waited in line for 1.5 hours for this minute long ride. Crazy I know!

Waiting in line...again! Check out swollen lymph node on neck...hence reason for Urgent Care visit....along with some heavy wheezing. Nothing like steroids and antibiotics.

The highlight!

Hailey's happiest moment. "Ariel's Song" was worth the wait!

Drama!

Can you say FREEZING for us Floridians!

Disney just isn't complete without the huge swirly lolly!

Gi Gi

Gramma went to Heaven Friday, April 10th. She was the strongest woman I have ever met. She never complained. She never argued. She always smiled. She rocked in her chair. She played games with her great-grandkids. She gave the best advice you could ask for. She would do anything for you. She always listened. She smiled when you called her just to chat. She loved a good game of Scrabble. She always won. She loved her life and the people in it. She waited for those days we would bring the kids to see her. She was happy when we came to use her pool. She raised a family of 6 alone. She has 5 children. She has 12 grandchildren. She has 14 great grandchildren. She is loved and missed beyond words.
