Thumbsucker
I'm pretty sure I have we have a thumbsucker on our hands. This is how Carson puts himself to sleep EVERYtime. I've tried to replace the thumb by shoving a pacifier in his mouth, but this one's not having it! Hopefully the thumbsucking habit is as easy to break as the pacifier habit that our other two had...we'll see.
Happy Belated Father's Day
Our kids seriously have the best dad around! He is a perfect fit for them. I only hope they realize this one day! Until then, Happy Father's Day Babe! I love you!
Below are all my babes at their finest...8 am...notice Hailey's the only one dressed...she wakes up and immediately gets dressed...always. Now if only I can get her to do her hair too...hmmm.

2 months old
Believe it or not...the picture below is Carson at exactly one month old and the picture below that is him at 2 months old. I promise it was not on the same day although he is wearing the same outfit...oops!
At 2 months Carson...
goes to bed around 8:30
sleeps until 4 or 5 am, then goes back to sleep until 8:30 ish
eats every 2 to 3 hours during the day
fits comfortably in most 3 month clothing
is so smiley first thing in the morning
and fussy around 6:30
likes to be held outside in the evenings
is not much of a snuggler unless he's tired
LOVES his bath
has the best older siblings anyone can ask for
lights up our life!

Family Fun
Over Memorial Weekend, we decided to take a last minute weekend getaway with the kids, my mom, and Brianne and her husband. We had an awesome time playing and relaxing at the Nick Hotel in Orlando!
Brian and Bryce were chosen for one of the poolside games after 2 entire days of trying to get picked! The dads were wrapped in sheets and the kids had to guess which one was their dad based on their feet...lucky thing our dad has a special tatoo on his left foot...Bryce couldn't go wrong! He then got to slam a pie in Brian's face and head over to the slime machine himself for some Slime Time!
Still
Still a big brother! Bryce is still obsessed with Carson. If he's eating, Bryce is kissing his head saying..."Mommy, I love him so much I can't stand it." If he's crying, I hear, "Mommy, are you going to get him?" If he's laughing, we hear, "Hi Carson, your big brother's here."
I am also convinced that he truly feels his pain...in a non-corny kind of way. The other day, I had tried everything to soothe Carson...he was fed, changed, not tired...and I decided he just had to cry in his swing. I put him in the swing and started to put clothes away in his room. Not long after (a whopping 30 seconds) Bryce came in and gently reminded me that the baby was crying. I took one look at his concerned little face and decided it was time we have a talk. I explained to him that sometimes baby's cry even when their Mommy's think they shouldn't. This chat went on for about 5 minutes and by the time we were finished, I thought he understood. He walked out of Carson's room and within 30 seconds, I could hear him sobbing. I came right out, looked at his tear-stained face and asked, "Bryce, why are you crying?" Without any thought, he replied, "because I don't want him to get sick from crying and it hurts me when he cries." I guess what I am trying to say is we truly could not have asked for a more suited big brother than Bryce!

Last Days of Preschool
Hailey enjoyed a week of fun during the last days of preschool...water day and pajama and movie day to name a few. I'm not sure which she was more excited about...playing all day or not having to stay at school for a nap...since Mommy was home. Everytime I dropped her off (at 8:30 instead of 7:00) she would tell her teachers, "I'm just staying till lunch, no nap...that takes too long."
However, come 5 pm on most days, Mommy misses those naps that take too long. She has quite the personality at that hour.
